@triffic_stuff_ No one on PIP is voting Reform anyway. At least none that aren't genuine and can see that they wouldn't lose their benefit. They said the same with Cameron's disability benefit reforms and they turned out to be some of his most popular policies.
@sircalebhammer 100% the most useful and interesting ability of the smart phone. That was until I discovered the ordinance survey app (include topography and foot paths UK),๐ฆ
@WisdomBroZen @Sargon_of_Akkad Agree with this! On my estate growing we fucking despised the benefit scroungers, worse than scum. We see the middle class as smug wankers and snobs.
@cezthesocialist I suspect cez is in fact middle class, as is common with socialists. Not knowing what working class is or means, is a sure sign that you are not it.
@cezthesocialist@AlexPanton1 Your class is defined by your upbringing and lived experience. So yes, you will always be working class, as will I. Spend some time will the middle classes and it becomes abundantly clear what the difference is
@cezthesocialist I know a privately educated carpenter, just because he uses his hands for work doesn't mean he's working class. He's never eaten a turkey dinosaur and I didn't know what an avocado was until I met my wife, that's the difference, culture.
@cezthesocialist Being working class is culture and based on your upbringing. I will always be working class, regardless of my education or current earnings. My children on the other hand, will grow up middle class.
