@AJGullotta My point was that if he shows up he puts the obligation on 49ers to pay him or remove him from books. So either he collects checks or is set free.
Option A. Show up, collect a check, force 49ers to cave...
Option B. Get permission for your agent to talk to commanders to rework deal and ship a bag of chips for rights.
Option C... go on social media and throw a tantrum. Forfeit easy money.
Its not a hard choice...
@grantcohn Its not just 49ers. Leauge as whole doesnt want to set a precedent of a player dictating terms to teams. Still though, if Aiyuk showed up but held out for games he would take back all leverage and get what he wants.
@grantcohn Maybe you could interview Aiyuk... if hes truly a victim in this he would welcome an opportunity to tell his side. Or perhaps there's more to the story than your strawman implies.
@astroishmalkhan If you can stabalize a base on moon, figure out how to mine the ice on poles, its a massive advantage for launching rockets elsewhere (like mars). So yes, I think its an essential step.
@wavytalkhoops Depends on what you need. Rodman could guard anyone. Draymond was a floor general on defense and more versatile on offense. I think you also need the right culture for Rodman to thrive.
@CrantGohn Some of the hardest working people do it from home, they have to overcome the perceptions that they are slacking. Just because you cant work at home doesn't mean others cant.
@CrantGohn I would say.. its a great time to evaluate every positional holding you have. Does it still make sense? If you wouldn't buy it Today at its current price should you hold the entire position? Some things will be worth trimming and moving safer.
Historic starting 5, based on Today's era/rules set, considering player versatility. Who you got (think their peak year)? Play together 1 year without imploding from egos.
I've got: Jordan, Lebron, Steph, Hakeem, KG.
Modern rules, I think that team is unbeatable
@CoryTay36070123@ScottKacsmar Come on. Bill Russell was going against people that had a full time job outside of basketball, when there was still segregation rules in Basketball. No one thinks of you plug Bill Russell in any era after that he has anything close to his ancient performance.
@CoryTay36070123@ScottKacsmar '2013 Is Lebrons best year no doubt (not 2016). Compare against MJs 1988. Even then its subjective. If you grade off of superhuman athletic dominance, Jordan wins. If you grade off of basketball as executing a championship-winning formula, Lebron gets tip of cap.
@CoryTay36070123@ScottKacsmar Peak LeBron is the most versatile, efficient offensive engine in NBA history. But MJ wins the 8-year peak debate. His relentless two-way dominance, low-turnover volume, and unbridgeable statistical gap over his peers give him the highest apex the sport has ever seen.
The Wemby situation is interesting. I think if it was anyone else he gets a suspension. Timberwolves realize now he can be provoked to sabotage himself and the team, and they wont slow down with the antics. Tale as old as basketball.
@ScottKacsmar Weren't the warriors dynasty considered a historic defense, led by Draymond? He is thought to have revolutionized PF. He gets a lot of credit for being difference maker in 2015-2016 finals. Top 10 defender all time, then throw in his facilitating. HoF in my book.
NBA goat debate is silly. If you value peak performance, base it on top 8 years (similar to how people are graded for HoF), Jordan wins. If you base it on longevity, versatility, consistency, Lebron wins. Jordan hands down has the better heroes journey storyline.
