@RobbieSkeates Who remembers in the early 70s the coin collector for charity walking around the edge of the pitch as the fans threw coins at a target on a the collector. If you stood in the front you had to duck low to avoid getting hit !!!!
@racingoncourse@olibellracing You wonder about racecourse marketing strategy especially as they charge bookmakers a marketing fee each year and you wonder where that money goes towards!!!!
@RacingPost Why , should have been shut down .
To much All weather racing .
Look as Salisbury tonight and the number of runners there. 6 races 34 runners a really good advert to come racing .
@RacingPost George Washington a great looking horse . Won Group ones but the ultimate prize of being a great sire and earning millions eluded him as he was infertile .
@RacingPost@mp_horseracing Call me a cynic but the Aga Khan has a high class gelding and low and behold he can run in the Arc.
Interesting that the Irish St Leger has been open to gelding and is hardly gets a mention as a classic now ???
@AvonandsomerRob She stayed to long . Same as Blair . Two terms and then replace.
Both thought they could go on and on but the public want a change, they loose there grip and their MP rebel and cast them out !!!!
@equinties I was at Salisbury today and the favourite lost it at the start , wall of horses in front of him, hoped a gap would appear on the rails but it didnโt and by the time he switched him to get a gap the rest had flown .
@ClarksonsFarm1 I worked on a 50 cow dairy farm in Carmarthenshire and we had hedges setting on fire through the heat as it was a tinder box .
It was so hot , we baled hay in the morning and collected the bales after evening milking as it was workable right into the night .
