It's finally official: There are no mechanisms which would allow Dustin Martin to play AFL in 2025.
He would have had to nominate for the National Draft by 3pm today to be eligible for the rookie draft, SSP period, and next year's mid-season draft. He didn't nominate.

🇦🇺 What a performance from Aussie cyclist Emily Petricola, who set a world record for the women's C4 3,000m individual pursuit in the qualifying round in Paris.
Petricola posted a time of 3:35.856 to break the previous world mark (3:38.061) she set at the Tokyo Paralympics three years ago.
She will defend her Paralympic title in the gold medal race at 11:25pm (AEST).
Australian teammate Meg Lemon finished sixth on the standings with a time of 3:49.703.

Richmond will finish the round in 18th on the AFL ladder for the first time in their history. 🐯
It’s the first time the Tigers have been on the bottom since round 13, 2010 — 5,116 days ago. 🪜
The Tigers suffered their 14th loss of the season, and have fallen behind the Kangaroos by percentage after a 51-point loss to Fremantle.
In the 13 seasons of becoming an 18-team competition, all teams have now been on the bottom of the ladder at least once.
