The antitrust trial over the Warner Bros./Paramount merger is officially set for March 2027.

Beginning September 30, Paramount will also be required to pay Warner Bros. shareholders $7 million per day until the merger is finalized.

Paramount is pushing for the Warner Bros. merger antitrust trial to begin in November, while the coalition of states and the WGA are seeking an April 2027 trial date.

Paramount is also set to pay Warner Bros. shareholders $7 MILLION per day starting September 30 until the merger is finalized.

I’m glad that this merger was placed on hold, but that was well tamed by this antitrust litigation.

The Paramount and Warner Bros merger is officially on hold.

The merger will not move forward until June 1, 2027 OR until the courts provide a ruling on the lawsuits facing the merger.

Players around the world are reporting they can’t sign in, play online, access the PlayStation Store, or use other PSN features.

This is the future PlayStation is pushing: once servers are down or have problems, all your games will be useless.

Paramount shareholders has filed a lawsuit against David and Larry Ellison seeking to block the proposed $111B Warner Bros. merger, alleging they struck an illegal side deal with President Trump to secure regulatory approval.

This marks the FOURTH lawsuit challenging the merger.
