Hit my 20 year mark today working in the USA at Activision! 5 Dec 2005 - 5 Dec 2025. Arrived on my own with a couple of suitcases; my life is very different now. :) Still smile at the sun and the palm trees, and am very happy to call California home.
Really enjoying "The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy". SRPG's are probably my favorite genre, and they did a great job with this one. Well balanced combat, and the story stuff just gets better as it goes along. I highly recommend it!
@mattlarscheid@FakeJohnTrump@GabeHoff It's not that far off:

I've spoken with many folks who immigrated illegally over my 20 years in LA, and every one of them overstayed on a tourist visa.
i'm a broken record on this, but the fact that basically everything about videogame culture has been offloaded to youtubers and streamers is profoundly bleak. blogs died years ago, outlets are dying now, and the people actually making the games aren't doing much better either.

There's an explanation why so many of us look back fondly to the #Olympics opening ceremony in 2012.
The country was united, comfortable with diversity, proud of its past, relaxed about the future and secure enough to take the piss out of ourselves.

Guessing the Scottish version originated in the 80s, perhaps even earlier.

Sounds like that first stage is up to 1000!
@mr_sorkin @USCTrojansFTFO@theyellowbat79@RiotRMD There are multiple stages of voting. I expect the first stage has all members of the games arm of BAFTA participating, which I think likely runs over 500.
Most games up for voting tend to have Steam/Epic-store codes only. Only a few of the top titles IME put up console codes.
