@DJDAZZA84 Honestly, I can’t stand slot and agree with everything here. But people’s fascination with Chiesa being able to impact positively any football match at this level blows my mind. What are we talking about seriously.
@LfcLila People grieve in different ways. It’s certainly not for me, but I’m sure those who are doing it are trying to bring their creativity together with their sorrow and express themselves in a way they feel comfortable. Using their talents to celebrate Diogo, like he used his for us.
@alfie433 Foul was blown back at the half way line, he didn’t play the advantage so the play was technically dead at this point in time. Nunez got booked for dissent afterwards (or for more than likely rolling back onto the pitch when injured to waste time).
@TomL1ttle_ Think that’s a good summary Tom. Thoughts on the system? On a slightly brighter note, the system and shape made up for some woeful individual performances, in a sense that should we have been more open, our piss poor passing should and would have cost us a lot more chances.
@GaryLineker@MicahRichards@alanshearer@RestIsFootball What weight do you give to trophies when comparing players? Often see players win “comparisons” because they’ve won more. I understand the game is about winning, but their is other variables such as teams, managers and so on (i.e. Scholes over Gerrard based on PL medals)
@dmlynchlfc @thisisanfield We’ve seen and heard a lot more from prominent players from 2000-2010 on podcasts and as analysts. They discuss what went on behind closed doors, how often things are over analysed etc. Does this change your current outlook on footballers and approach to various storylines?
