At the end of term, we said goodbye to Mr Shaw, who has worked tirelessly at Lockers Park for 36 years, passionately as director of music and in many other vital roles and subjects over the years.

To round off the academic year we held our annual prize giving ceremony. Staff said farewell to our leavers and many awards were presented. We waved goodbye to some long-serving valued members of our community and were treated to inspiring speeches from our Head Boy’s parents.

Year 5 visited Hudnall Park to learn about sustainability as part of their Geography studies. They made shelters, bug hotels, learnt ways to save our precious supply of drinking water and made water filters out of bottles, coffee filters, cotton wool, sand, stones and grass

Mr Taylor told Absolutely Hertfordshire how important it is to instil a love of learning for children between 4-13 years old. “This is a such a pivotal stage for children. They need to have a vibrant and supportive school community that enables them to explore their potential.
