I got off a plane to find my independence stripped from me.

This cannot continue happening to disabled people. This #wheelchair is my mobility. My entire life is powered by this wheelchair.

Another flight, another broken wheelchair damaged by #airlines.

Some people can’t see racism in health care. A Cree teen male went to the ER bc he was unwell. He sat, became delirious & security was called as they felt he was intoxicated. No vital signs were taken. He died 4ish hours later due to septicemia. I reported this. Nothing happened.

You may not know that you know a survivor, but it’s highly likely that you do.

Survivors of trauma are close to you. They are people you love & you may not know.

Many decide whether their story is safe with someone by how they respond to other survivors.

Don’t push them away.

Kudos to @CityofEdmonton LRT track crews who worked all night in -45 to fix a rail at 51 Av. Cold weather work is challenging for staff & equipment. Crews will be out again tonight to repair a rail at 34 Av. Our dedicated crews ensure Edmontonians can commute safely. #yegtransit
