Glenpool Foundations of Manufacturing students worked hard making more than 80 wooden cards for residents at a local nursing home.
Students in the @SkillsUSAOK chapter cut, stained & laser engraved the 4x6 cards with inspirational messages to help brighten each residents day.
Dr. Adam Shrager, a statistics professor at The College of New Jersey, was surprised by his 31 students during the final class of the semester! https://t.co/2ihs4JaQ7K
@mrronclark_ I currently teach HS, hands in manufacturing class & 20 is a great size. I have taught a 7th grade science of 40 (180 for the daily total) and would still say 20 is a great size. Pay IS important. Teacher shortage across the US and most teachers have 2+ jobs to eat & live.
I wonder how much of this educational debt was taken on because the student was encouraged to pursue education for education’s sake alone—without an end goal or destination in sight that would enable them to repay their loans. https://t.co/6JpedWPdqo #CollegeDebt
At RCA we have great relationships with our parents, because we visit the home of every child, allow the parents to spend the whole day in their child’s classes and seek to build bonds. Teachers and schools need to embrace parents and form a partnership for the good of all kids.
Wednesday in Kindness Week students posted post-it’s with positive messages on the purple wall! I love my school and students! Amazing!
