@ramifarook2 Justice and Freedom? Women in both the West Bank and Gaza faced discrimination and violence. Courts in Gaza continued to hand down death sentences. Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) people were subjected to arbitrary arrest and ill-treatment.

The LGBT community in the West Bank & Gaza face threats, violence and discrimination. Some gay Palestinians run to Israel for sanctuary. You can't blame this on Israel. Like with democracy, Israel would support and assist any attempt to improve the situation. This is all on them.

But meanwhile we are deafened by the silence from @TheCanaryUK and others who routinely shout from the rooftops when they perceive human rights abuses by Russia, Venezuela, Iraq, Palestine, China, Israel, Saudi, American.
They don’t care as it’s LGBT being persecuted.

Two years ago I met some gay people in the West Bank. They were hopeful for the future in difficult circumstances. Not only is the Palestinian Authority now clamping down, the Israelis are making it impossible for LGBT Palestinians enter for support.
