@agbdrilling My wife's grandad only left Cheshire once in his lifetime and that was to go by train to collect cattle from Scotland. They then drove the cattle on foot, at night using oil wick lanterns from Crewe train station to Betley (about 7 miles)
@Mark__Hitchcock@agbdrilling@VirtualAstro Terrible nights sleep last night, I was sat in the garden around 1am and saw what I think was a meteor shower roughly NE direction so that was a bonus
@agbdrilling Watched 20+ fly over Monday night. Amazing to think of the engineering that's gone into it but equally sad to think that we're going to balls up space just like we've ballsed up earth!
@73Underwood@LeveridgeReuben We're supposed to be getting a good satellite show tonight around 2158, loads of satellites visible for about 6 mins. Nack all else to do, pubs shut 😢
HELP/ADVICE
A #RAF#Veteran that has no immediate family and lack of social interaction during this difficult time is being supported by community set up group. Can anyone recommend an organisation that could help further in #Stafford#Staffordshire?? The gentleman is also blind.
