Hello! If you would like to sign up for my email newsletter, please click the link https://t.co/mP2aYQPxyY to subscribe! They are random arrays of encouragement, story, honesty, and humor and I would be so honored for you to be apart. ๐งก
5) Remember that this will end. Life is an array of seasons - just like feelings, cycles in life, lows & highs - are. See yourself through. Ground yourself in the coming day of unification. Hold that vision close. Stay present to TODAY. Hold onto hope for tomorrow.๐
4) Remember and be mindful of boundaries & how much you can hold. You are not meant to bear the weight of the entire worldโs suffering. Know when to turn off the news, put down your phone, & recenter again.
3) Do not put pressure on yourself. If you feel productive, great. If you donโt, great. You are not expected to do or produce or accomplish anything during this time. Take each day as it comes - hold yourself steady to the grace of every moment. You can do hard things.
2) Donโt shame yourself for grieving. The world is bearing the weight of suffering - โbigโ & โsmall.โ You are allowed to feel sad about the loss of an event, job, graduation, school, etc. This is not normal. Life is not normal. There is sadness & grief to that.
1) You have never done this before. When you first do something, itโs usually messy & hard. Give yourself that same grace. You are allowed to be โfiguring it out.โ Be kind to yourself. Youโre doing the best you can.
I hope I strip the things I want to leave behind and gather the breadcrumbs of what I want to eternally hold. I hope to gather the sparkles of wonder and dust presented to me each day and deem them as beautiful gifts to me from a God who sees me as Beloved.
@Gdrelationships My motto for the year is "What is coming is better than what is gone", and knowing that we will come out of this, that this storm will pass, is my comfort for the day.
