@number_pizza111@WillowChem A single UTM can do whatever a series of TM do. Unless making correct investment decisions are mystical and arational, or not Turing Computable in some other way, that information problem, should not be a problem.
@number_pizza111@WillowChem I don't find that information argument convincing. (see attached)
What I think is the strongest argument is about Creative Destruction. Another guy in the comments touched on Creative Destruction, but he did it in a cringe way by dropping a link about AI instead of Schumpeter.
@intentionalisms@ununitedstates To be fair, I think trans masc and trans men are seperate categories. Many of the former don't want to be men, they fetishise trans women and want to be bearded ogrehon sissy crossdressers. The latter group, that actually want to be men, are generally just short men.
I largely think the same about AI coding
“What if there was a game that was x but y” is a thought meant for 10 year old children and people who are a bit too stoned. You are meant to think about it for 10 minutes and then move on.
The 3 types of prison abolitionist:
1 - "We need to stop raping people, you know" - not really an abolitionist, actually wants reform
2 - "putting people in cages is inhumane, we should just castrate and crucify them instead" - insane anarchist
3 - "I have rapist friends"
When I say we need to embrace coalition politics—and thus the toleration of diverse ideas within the coalition—in defense of someone with a few anti-trans positions, the libs clap. When I say it about accepting prison abolitionists in the coalition, they get very mad. Curious
Japanese culture reigns in the age of the internet because they had an entire generation there first and have seen its effects on people. "Database Shohi", NEETs, "denpa", all things they named about a decade+ ago are things the west is coming to terms with now
