1st & greatest command: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul & all your mind.’ 2nd is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself'
@johnmarkclifton Praying the Lord will give you wisdom, clarity and strength as you prepare yourself and your sermon for tomorrow.
"Father, what we know not, teach us; what we have not, give us; what we are not, make us,"
@MarkHallock The Lord will lead the pastor he wants to our church, so this (bigger) is a potential reality for some pastor. And it’s not a bad thing. But it’s hard to reconcile so many pastors who “seek the Lord’s will” and it just happens to include all things “bigger”
@MarkHallock I’m serving on PST at our church. We get applications from pastors who are “seeking God’s will” on if our church is where God is leading them. The majority are from pastors at smaller churches. Our church would offer a larger platform, larger crowds and larger paycheck.
