No one wants a nuclear war, including #Putin. He values his earthly, or rather underground life too highly to spend it in strict isolation in a bunker. In an attempt to look scarier, the dictator puffs himself up like a frog, but he is not ready to explode. His words are not followed by actions, the red lines have been erased, and his threats do not scare anyone. On the contrary, #Kremlin has chosen a strategy of de-escalation for its domestic audience: after each defeat, Russian propaganda diligently downplays the extent of losses.

Victory is first and foremost about establishing justice. Only the end of the war that satisfies the victims and does not give gifts to the murderers will be fair. Russia must be forced to start negotiations on the basis of international law, not gangster concepts. Ukraine has the determination and military skill to coerce by force. We are waiting for a clear strategy of support from the #West.
