Alright, the 21,000 people who logged into Destiny 2 for the very first time yesterday…
I have one request.
Would also accept a few people to sign to get us to the funny number. 377,777.
In my 11 years in the games industry working on Destiny 2 has 100% been the highlight of my career. Simply put, I’ve loved it
The teams creating D2 put so much work & heart into this final release, I sincerely hope you all enjoy it 💙
Thank you Guardians & see you starside🫡
Thank you to everyone signing in to join us for Monument of Triumph.
We've seen quite a few fireteams reuniting, groups memorizing Pantheon patterns to prep for Saturday's gauntlet, and many asking for clues about [REDACTED].
Those nailbiter SRL finishes? And the drip with all this new armor?
What a wild day so far.
Keep it up.
It’s been a long journey since Destiny 2’s launch on 9/6/2017.
@Bungie plans to honor your loyalty with Destiny 2 with the all-new Elemental Qi Emblem.
To earn this, you must have logged in and played Destiny 2 at least once during each D2 year.
Everything in the Moment of Triumph - the updates, the emblems, the Guardian tenets highlighted - everything feels so thoroughly planned out way too well for a game that was abruptly ended this fast.
Everything about this feels very intentional as if there's something planned way beyond Destiny 2 and the future of Destiny is in fact alive and well.
