I fear my wife may have joined a cult. It's just three people but they are saying the downright filthiest things about Michael Cera, Adam Sandler, Bill Harder, and Pedro Pascal. She just isn't the same anymore...
I did it. I won #NaNoWriMo. It took me writing 7806 words today, but I did it. I had to write almost 13000 words in two days just to make up for the flu trying to keep me down. My only regret is that the shirts were sold out in my size. I got my wife one to represent!
I didn't tweet my #NaNoWriMo word writing accomplishments for a few days, because I had none. The flu got me and made it impossible to write for four days. I still have a chance. I wrote 5125 words today, putting me at 42318. Tomorrow will be legendary.
What the heck? I sit down to write for #NaNoWriMo, telling myself just 800 words to hit 35k and instead I just get a casual 2112? My muse, whatever it may be, has a cruel sense of humor.
Okay. Okay. Hear me out. I played a lot of God of War: Ragnarok this past weekend. So Saturday, for #NaNoWriMo, I only wrote 329 words, and Sunday I wrote 1830. Now tonight, I wrote 2142. Hear me out, it was worth losing Saturday numbers. I'm only 2000 words behind...
Some days my creativity for tweets to reveal how many words I wrote for #NaNoWriMo runs out. Like, how am I suppose to cleverly say I wrote 1714 words today?
So I wrote 1691 words, which is more than the daily. Unfortunately, I think it's not enough to make up any... This #NaNoWriMo will come down to the buzzer.
He he he. I did it. I did a second day of 2000 words. Take that #NaNoWriMo, you intrusive set of arbitrary challenges that I allow to overwhelm my November. I will defeat you!
I love that Scrivener updates how many words per day I need to make up for SLACKING with my daily #NaNoWriMo. That being said, I went a little above with 1975 words so it should go down a little tomorrow. Right?
#NaNoWriMo, you sick muse. I am slowly falling behind. But this has happened before. I won those times and I'll win this time too! And honestly, 1117 words isn't terrible.
It may not be the weekend yet but it is certainly a rally. Well, a minor rally. But 1849 words nonetheless! #NaNoWriMo sure does feel like a long hike some days.
