for anyone who knows me, im a BIG fan of the new canon SW novels. Lost Stars is actually what got me back into this genre. i went on to read dozens more of the following canon novels. definitely think a book store should carry some of those classics. they are timless masterpieces

i was browsing around Books A Million today and was relatively disappointed at the selection of Star Wars books. all they had were some new titles and a few legends titles too. it was way too small and lacked some of the new canon classics like Lost Star, Aftermath, etc..

never looked into why Del Rey stopped being the home of Star Wars novels, it was them for ages, now it’s Random House. truly the peak of Star Wars new canon novels happened under Del Rey, hope RH is still doing the same

i will say confidently that i’ve approved of the job Disney has done with Star Wars. the sequels were great, everyone loved Force Awakens and only hated it after it became mainstream to hate Disney. they are the reason Star Wars even is still alive today, we gotta be thankful

2016 was an awful year for celebrity deaths.. 🥺we lost our beloved Carrie Fisher, lost Alan Rickman, Gene Wilder, David Bowie, Prince, George Michael, and more. so glad Disney dedicated Last Jedi to Carrie. such a depressing loss

oddly enough i went back to my first video in 2016 when i reviewed lost stars and apparently youtube created time stamps on my video.

i never made these edits. so must’ve been them. it has stamps for intro, review, and grade of the book… pretty cool!

also on the horizon is a full on blind playthrough of star wars outlaws on PS5! blind playthrough meaning it’s all new to me and i won’t know what to expect as it’s my first time on or off camera. doing this will ensure authentic reactions! hopefully begins tomorrow!
