Used to be a nerd podcast. CV19 was just 1 of our failed saving throws. Still a safe space for all things nerd. Run by @Dubzthethrid. I still wanna be your #GFF
We had a plan go off so good in #dnd5e tonight my DM rage quit the battle 😂
assassin rogue got off 2 surprise attacks, took down 2 baddies and my DM just knocked over the other 2 and was like “it’s fine, you win, there’s no way they survive” and went to the bathroom lol
@hummingbirddice I love bringing physical items that have meaning to figure out. Something tactile that in the game represents a magic item or key of some sort but takes some figuring out.
@therealtireddm Just use an illusion spell! The dragon can cast it, and should be able to control it. Just pick the right illusion spell for what you’re trying to accomplish.
I would if I had like a dedicated group. Like everyone is experienced and open to trying something new. Most groups I’m in have at least a couple people who have never played ttrpg’s before and I find it’s easier for them if at least 1 person knows the system well
Do people... Really not like to learn new games?
Genuine question. It's one of my absolute favorite things to do!
Guess that's why I have four overloaded bookshelves full of every kind of #ttrpg out there, and then some.
@DaddyRolleda1 I do sometimes, but my players all really like their minis! I know it’s weird but it’s almost as strong as the dice obsession. And in the past I’ve had to borrow a mat, so, I feel like a real dm now that I bought one lol
