Geeking out about many-a-thing.

[Lewis Miller @GeekLewis]

@WBEZreset also a fun shot, the Dumpster Fire. Malort and Fireball.
Enjoy.

[Lewis Miller @GeekLewis]

@WBEZreset If you're going to have a Malort shot the best way is drop a big piece of black licorice in the glass, let it sit for a minute, drink the shot then enjoy the licorice.

I can't image OJ was a good flavor to follow Malort.

@WBEZreset I wouldn't ditch my smartphone for a dumb phone because that would put me back in the situation I was in 15 years ago of carrying two devices, a phone & PDA. Calling them smartphones is really a misnomer since the "phone" is just an app on a pocket computer.

[Lewis Miller @GeekLewis]

@librarythingtim It's not that he pointed out that ChatGPT uses the word "delve" it was his accusation that humans don't use it. Because he assumes everyone talks like him.
Maybe not history's greatest monster, but certainly a bit of an asshole.

[Lewis Miller @GeekLewis]

@sarajrants That is super fucked up.

[Lewis Miller @GeekLewis]

@PeteGuither Do you think FOX would use union writers?

[Lewis Miller @GeekLewis]

@WBEZreset if you bought the Mona Lisa you wouldn't get to rename it. You just own the Mona Lisa, that's the name of the work.

[Lewis Miller @GeekLewis]

@WBEZreset If you want a building named after you, then you need to make a new building.

[Lewis Miller @GeekLewis]

@WBEZreset I don't care about Sears the company or Sears the man. But the name of the building is Sears. The architectural work of art is named Sears Tower, and names are important. Names shouldn't be changed, 'naming rights' are dumb.

[Lewis Miller @GeekLewis]

@CommanderHales1 It's a major problem with NuWho's stories. Doctor Who needs serialized stories with cliff hangers.

@SamsungBizUSA This is getting ridiculous I've now had a dead 970 Plus SSD for over a week that is less than a year old. It's under warranty and I'm still waiting for you to get me a replacement drive. I've not heard a work back in several days despite phone calls and e-mails.

[Lewis Miller @GeekLewis]

@SamsungSupport Nope, once again the website is a mess and I can't get any warranty support, links go nowhere, or the website hangs, or it just points me to where I can download drivers. I need to be put in contact with someone for warranty support.

[Lewis Miller @GeekLewis]

@SamsungSupport None of the support or warranty links on your website have been working the last two days so I'm coming here. My less than 1 year old 970 EVO Plus M.2 drive is throwing SMART errors and won't boot any more. I need to get this replaced ASAP

[Lewis Miller @GeekLewis]

@SamsungSupport I will try it again today, but like I said over the weekend, none of the links were working.
