@AaliyahLove69 There’s a setting that will let the box update automatically. Settings (gear icon) - System - Software updates - Automatically update. I find that the Apple TV box has updates for most major iPhone and iPad updates.

@AaliyahLove69 Yes, you can use your iPhone to control the Apple TV box. It used to be the Remote app but now it’s in the Control Center ( swipe down from upper right). Look for the older Apple Remote looking icon. Happy TV watching.
