You have all probably been wondering why the team has been so silent, and we owe you an explanation. Morgan, our lead developer, has been dealing with personal issues for some time. Out of respect for his privacy we cannot share more than that, but he has decided to step into a less active role within the project, indefinitely.

That being said, he made great progress with the platform, and we will now be using our broad network to try and bring in another talented and experienced developer as soon as possible. Our goal remains the same: to finish the platform and release it.

The connections & partnerships we have built with notable platforms and communities are still intact and will continue to support us moving forward. While this will frustratingly delay the final launch, please know that we are fully committed to seeing this through.

We have always strived to be open and transparent with you, and we will continue to do so as we move ahead together.

It’s been quiet, so here’s a quick update.

We’ve been finalizing partnerships with top industry players. This delayed the release of the new update due to integration, but we’re now in the final stages and it'll be worth the wait.

These deals will greatly expand EKKO’s network and connect us to a much larger audience.

1. Putting the final touches on San Del Hoya, our next Blitz Royale map. It's INCREDIBLY CLOSE. It will be released in the next update! Say goodbye to Mahzookoo Island!

2. Work has started on our next map. We'll be headed to a prison in the woods. One big POI. Pure chaos. This isn't your grandma's BR map. It's tighter. No standard rotations. The initial blockout is complete and we are now locking it in.

3. Time to define your KOMPETE Legacy! The leaderboard and scores drop THIS WEEK. Every move you make in the KOMPETE economy counts toward your Legacy score. Will you be at the top, or vanish at the bottom?

4. PlayStation 5 is the top priority. Period. We’re closing in, breaking through barriers daily. Multiple devs are working on it. You want it. We want it. Stay tuned.

5. KOMPETE Basketball continues to be built out as we implement the remaining skill attributes this week.

6. Rumor has it we're experimenting with a crate and key system. Earn crates by playing. Use keys to open crates. No promises. Just something we have been concepting this week. Maybe we do it. Maybe we don't.

7. For the Bazaar, we are implementing the remaining juicy data such as a not-owned filter, onchain supply, and more!
