@ScarletDraw Not for me. Every time I eat it I can't identify anything about it. Like I know my mouth is detecting it's wrong but I can never figure out what's missing or what I fucked up. I'm not food savvy enough for that unfortunately :(
@skeletxnbxbe Honestly this is the second person who's recommended soup maybe that'll be my step towards getting things right
Maybe I've been underestimating the power of the soup lol
@keidokteran I actually do eat a lot of my burnt foods I just wish I was a better cook so I didn't have to burn the food at all that's where it feels like a waste
@Imperf3ktS I'm not really expecting to paint the mona lisa I just wish it didn't feel like every piece of cooking advice online was just under the assumption that I have the disposable income to just try again over and over
@camyu123 Unfortunately I don't have many in my life who can do that for me. My older brother could but he and I have very different diets, and my uncle is a professional chef but he lives multiple states away in bumfuck nowhere with many work hours and dogshit wifi lol
Alright so I didn't want this tweet to get traction much so imma just say
A) yes I admit using the word privilege was a bit hyperbolic of me
B) Some of you are giving me really good advice and I actually really appreciate it thank you
@Yaboyhiku This gigantic paragraph of advice is really helpful actually thank you. Better advice than my parents ever gave at least lmao. If you have anymore I'd love to hear it.
@CoryooNWS I'm assuming based on your descriptions you personally don't scramble the eggs, would it work just as well with scrambled (it's my preference)
@KureyaAburame THATS HOW I'D DESCRIBE THE PROBLEM THANK YOU I hate vibes based directions I cannot detect the "vibe" they're going for most of the time. I rely on very specific instructions to do things it sucks man. Guess that's just a skill issue on my end lol
@SplatGarbagePos Honestly yeah tbh I used to hate soup as a kid because it didn't really feel like "eating" but if my stupid ass brain won't lock tf in then maybe that's my calling lmao
@Yaboyhiku You see I know it's all about discipline but honest to god most of it is just not being able to understand vague instructions. Like you can tell me to cut a tomato or cut chicken but if you ask me to put it on medium low heat I'll have no idea what to do.
@OG_Zig_Zag I've followed recipes before and my only problem really is just how vague they feel when it comes to cooking directions. Like yeah, I can cut something. I can put in 4 measurements of whatever. But what the hell is medium low heat lol
