@ember_energy The normal US EIA three month data lag seems to extend to a five month lag about once a year, visible in the US Electricity Data Explorer. Why is that, out of curiosity? (Latest data is for Dec 25, we're in late May). Anybody know?

@GonetoBlueSky8 @johnrhanger Electrification leads to an overall reduction of total energy use. Worth pointing out here that oil and gas exploration, refining, and delivery use massive amounts of electricity. EVs following a fairly predictable growth curve at this point, gives time for grid improvement.

@UnknownBio @nicolasfulghum Until and unless 4th generation reactor designs become commercially available and prove to be price competitive $/MWh, it's not very likely to go up. Energy investors like to have a return on their investment.
