@ember_energy The normal US EIA three month data lag seems to extend to a five month lag about once a year, visible in the US Electricity Data Explorer. Why is that, out of curiosity? (Latest data is for Dec 25, we're in late May). Anybody know?

Worth pointing out here that oil and gas exploration, refining, and delivery use massive amounts of electricity. EVs following a fairly predictable growth curve at this point, gives time for grid improvement.
@UnknownBio@nicolasfulghum Until and unless 4th generation reactor designs become commercially available and prove to be price competitive $/MWh, it's not very likely to go up. Energy investors like to have a return on their investment.
