A Spiritual Scientific Treatment on the Subject of Race

One's race and one's soul are not synonymous. One's gender and one's soul are not synonymous. The wise working of spiritual powers bring us into these conditions, that we may "partake" and "wrestle" with them through life, so that at the threshold of death, we emerge strengthened in our capacity to overcome resistance, balanced in our capacity to embrace polarity, clarified in our capacity to discern truth.

Race and gender are tools we are given, and tools that we shed, on the path of becoming a full-fledged member of Christ's Kingdom...and each soul is destined to experience many different permutations of these possibilities as it progresses towards this future state. When human beings learn to see the soul, they will learn to see eye to eye and they will not fall prey to the hindering spirits that would cause them to fixate on race and sex. Again, both are of this world, Christ is not. And it is Christ in us, that makes us truly human. When we become conscious of who we are, of the soul-spiritual element that lives in us as the "I am," our heart and our mind become more and more free of our earth-bound condition, and we begin, as an act of consciousness, not as fantasy, but as a vital force of living awareness, to grow into our surroundings in such a way that the things standing before us can reveal their inner life of soul and spirit. Our beholding becomes a communing.

The East proclaims, from out of antiquity, that earthly existence is Maya. The modern West proclaims that material existence is Cold Hard Fact. He who seeks the truth and delves into the proper use of his inner faculties of cognition, will learn to Warm through the material world and its impressions. Like unto the ice that begins to melt, and to move, under his gaze the impressions of earthly matter will give way to the streaming and iridescent flows of etheric life that interpenetrate and form the visible world. He can then say to himself, through experience, yes, the World is Maya, but reality itself is not an illusion, no, the illusion is concealing a reality in a lawful way. The right employment of smoke and mirrors can make human beings in a magic act seem to disappear, but only the lawful arrangement of those apparatus can make it so; just any kind of arrangement will not necessarily do. So too has the world been clothed in illusion properly, to suit the higher evolutionary goals of spirit being. Thus, the aspiring human being can hold the West and the East, the North and the South, antiquity and modernity within an all-encompassing penetration of reality, here and now.

World formative powers, powerful spirit beings have clothed mankind in race and sex, antagonizing him as well as granting him capacities out of which he grows towards his immortal stature. Behind these forms are forces that stream into the earthly world and constitute the peoples and their karmic destinies. Those who let their racial or sexual nature overtake and delay the necessary work of their "I," their Spirit, say to the rest of humanity..."I give you nothing of myself, you will bear me, and as I sink heavier and heavier into the form that was given to me so must the the world labor the weight of my persistent negligence and stubbornness.

Race is the character and build of our natural instinct, Nation is the character and build of our cultivated interests, Individuality is the character and build of our freely conceived spiritual ideals. The United States of America was founded by forerunning Individuals who sought the conception of a Nation based on the ideals of the free Individuality. Thus was inaugurated on Earth, a new impetus for earthly evolution to evolve OUT of the races and even eventually the nations, on the path to a truly free "citizenship" of the Individual in relation to the Whole.

This path is fraught with terrible hindrances and challenges and is beset upon by the adversaries in the most cunning and duplicitous ways, but the path is real, and the path is true. Human beings who learn to awaken their spiritual faculties will also be those individuals who emerge out of racial conditions. The "race" of the future, in the millennia to come, will not be any one hereditary racial line...it will be a new "race" formation whose lines of force (giving shape and character to the face and body) will begin to be drawn voluntarily and consciously by the Individual from the spiritually perceptible world; and these will either be moral forces or immoral forces...two races will emerge.

One group of souls will draw into the formations of their bodies the emanations of high celestial realities, freed from the 7 deadly sins, and transformed into 7 powers of spirit, and the other group of souls will draw upon those same 7 deadly sins as forces for their own egotistic development and will be thus configured. The moral humanity will unfold the seven seals/ the seven churches as is portrayed in the Apocalypse, the immoral humanity will unleash the seven vials/bowls which will plunge them into the tortures of the seven plagues.

What is difficult, but perhaps not too difficult to acknowledge in our time, is that evil impulses hold sway in so many areas of human life. Lies, fraud, and violence are symptoms of social illnesses just as much as coughing, fever, and vomiting are illnesses of the bodily organism. In order to overcome illness, purging is necessary, and this purging, this purification is either taken up voluntarily by the individual or it is forestalled or rejected in favor for it to be "poured out over" one by compelling external forces, but it cannot be otherwise. Each human being IS part of the whole and there is simply no getting around that fact.

How can the part be free if it is in some measure responsible for its relationship to the whole?

This is why a real, true education is so vital, so essential in our society. The ONLY way for a free individual to be free and yet be rightly bound to the world is through.......love. When we truly love a something or someone, we do so freely, it arises from out of our very core, and it cannot be faked or compelled. This is how we can freely unite to the world, but perhaps we must LEARN to love one another...and my o my what a learning that can be.

A person can turn his back on the world, can coldly reject it, or predatorily pursue it for his own passions, but in either case he is still PART of the WHOLE, and the whole, as it moves towards the light of spirit, into the presence of God, cannot help but to heap upon a man what he sows in his heart. It is spiritual law, karma. But, this karma has been redeemed through the Christ.

These currents, these streaming lines of vital spiritual force that shape human bodies and karmic destinies had become so polluted, so convoluted as to threaten with complete obliteration the human races. Murder, theft, lies, and licentiousness are not infinitely tolerable to the divine world process. These lower astral forces are in part given expression and thereby partially relieved by the beastly, deadly, venomous, infective, parasitic, and poisonous expressions within the animal and plant kingdoms. And the further expression of these forces, that cannot be balanced out by the natural world, pour over into human life as the ongoing sufferings of mankind. These forces are bound within an orbit surrounding the Earth, which is circumscribed by the Moon. The higher spiritual worlds, out beyond the Moon sphere, keep at bay and perpetually thrust downward evil forces and specters which foment and putrefy like a rotting corpse. When these decaying formations are rightfully exposed to Solar forces and higher celestial rhythms they are transformed into the fertile soil for humanity to "struggle out of," i.e., the separate races and genders.

Christ Jesus took into Himself the overly active rotting/destructive powers that give human beings their form and their karma. These are actual currents in the auric field of human beings and of the earth that create our and the earth's conditions. Christ implanted himself within the centermost midst of these converging forces, these same forces which were initiated at the Fall of Adam and Eve and the Slaying of Abel by Cain...forces which had multiplied ad nauseam since those times. The blood lust for his Crucifixion contained those same forces which were binding human beings more and more irrevocably to the fallen, earthly world. The Cross, upon which he died, put also to death, the death forces, but in so doing he made Himself the gateway, the "Seal" of Death's Defeat. That is why it is said, and it is true, that through Him, is Salvation.

When human beings seek redemption without Him, they wind up circling around themselves, their own personality, and that personality is blind, deaf, and dumb to the reality of the spiritual world! Thus the assertions and conclusions they attempt to commit to are done in ignorance, clever as they may concoct themselves to be. It is only by growing OUT of oneself that one enters the rejuvenating stream of eternal life. One encounters, in this growing out, the "I am" of the World, the Christ. All "I" beings share their "I" in common. We can bear witness to this in a simple observation of life. Every human being calls themselves the same name..."I," and it always refers to themselves, but we all hold the name in common. This picture is literally true at an existential, spiritual level of reality.

Again, it is important to emphasize that this "growing out" into the world, is not theoretical, or a trick of the mind, it is a real, organic, soul-spiritual development whereby the inner capacities of the human being become enkindled intensely enough as to overcome the soul's bondage to merely physical sense perceptions and conditions. When Love, when truly intimate concourse with the World and one's fellow human beings occur, Individual consciousness is not blotted out, it grows in intensity, and this intensification of awareness literally melts sense perceptions and reveals the spiritual forces and beings that "live" within them. Thus can the world truly flow into the soul and the soul can truly flow into the world. The "fallen" world, the world that upholds the intellect, is frozen in form, and it keeps us separate. This separation makes possible our individual self-consciousness, but when this self-consciousness becomes earth-bound beyond its due measure, egotism and schisms shatter the social fabric of world-existence.

The hardening into racial groups, nationalistic factions, and self-inflated opinions will continue to pose grave threats to our ongoing situation. Race, nation, and opinions will be with us still for quite sometime, but we have in the insights of spiritual science a remedy that will not only ease our affliction, but will prepare the ground for the future; a future when human beings will truly live in the light and warmth of one Spirit Sun. We can grow into that future state starting now, by deeply considering thoughts such as these, and by engaging life in a way true to such ideas. So much of what is unnecessary can then fall away, and so much of what is necessary can make itself felt and become clear to us.

The rubber really begins to meet the road when such an inwardly insightful examination of one’s psyche(logy) through archetypal ideas is lifted, through meditative effort, into an actual experience of spirit being. Then we move from a logical intuition of the living ideas to a sophical intuition, a consciousness of our spiritual nature as a spiritual being among spiritual beings. In the cognitive act we unconsciously borrow supersensible light in order to illumine rationally our soul life, but when the soul seeks this light not metaphorically but literally we ACTUALLY can rise to a conscious communion with spiritual beings who we clothe in word-images but ones’ whose higher, true nature transcends in reality.
