@Pirat_Nation 85% market control is not evidence of a monopoly and everyone saying this should just be called a grifting scumsucker.
If Valve were to fuck over steam users TODAY and pissed off enough people, people would stop buying games on their store and use some of the many other options.
@LukishiFukari I know it's hard to strike a balance with this kind of sensei action, given how he's so squishy and is allergic to bullets, but I really like it when sensei comes out and calls out bullshit when he sees it, especially when the safety of his students comes into play.
@anemone1969051@nopejpg4@MalakHelsing@hunter_tnok It's a worldwide issue when it comes to the entertainment industry, with the US, it was Hollywood. Dan Schneider and related scandals come to mind.
I never said it doesn't happen, just that it's less often in Japan, and that sex dolls likely aren't causing the issue.
@LiamHayneX@IntCyberDigest It's an issue with how the ads are pushed. If they weren't so intrusive, obnoxious, and most of the times even outright malicious, people wouldn't mind an ad being here or there on the webpage.
It's a service issue, through and through.
@nopejpg4@MalakHelsing@hunter_tnok According to the statistics, it is apparently. Japan has one of the lowest rates of child sexploitation compared to the rest of the world. So it, at the very least, doesn't make things worse.
@Iody247@argenteye123@AI_EmeraldApple@Asmongold If there were parallels, we would see an increase of lolicons who later offend against real children. But we don't. The offending rate is actually mirrored with that of the general, non-lolicon, public's.
@ColdShalamov@AI_EmeraldApple@Asmongold notice how you flipped the script.
We already know that people who have harmed real children get off to normal porn, or niche forms of hentai.
That doesn't even begin to create a correlation. It's the purest form of intellectual dishonesty.
@Asmongold@AI_EmeraldApple I hope you know there has been extensive research into the matter and showed there's about as much of a trend of lolicons being attracted to real children as people who like blue cars being attracted to real children.
The statistics show zero actual correlation
