TAYLOR:
Ahhhh, Taylor. She rounds out our final three. Former school teacher turned school counselor. That’s why I had her as one my of top picks to win pre-season.
Intuitive, logical, and fair-natured. A true Libra. Both extroverted and introverted at the same time. We saw this throughout the season.
But introverts have a place in BB too, just like they do in real life.
I believe Taylor retreated into her introvertedness more than she anticipated because of her initial rejection from Devens on the first night. He hugged and greeted nearly everyone but chose to wave her off.
It’s ironic now that the final HOH comp comes down to her and Devens. And she might have forgiven him for his first night shenanigans, but she has not forgotten. Especially when he threatened her just the other night about jury votes.
With a poker face, she called his threats and raised him a solid mind-fucking about having to cut Drew to get to the final two.
This season started out with drama and loud brashness, so Taylor made herself small and harmless even tho she clearly has a boisterous side to her. Because it was often misunderstood (e.g., the “what was she reason?!” reference that she cackled at but went over Devens’ head and made him snap at her).
And even tho she came close to winning a number of comps, nobody cared or noticed because she always retreated to her pod and gave everyone the idea she was “doing nothing” while being the brains behind most of Lala’s and Yash’s brawn.
She emerged from that pod only when it was absolutely necessary and/or beneficial to her game.
And she did make attempts to make alliances, even trusting Devens to a fault at one point. I believe this was simply because she wanted to believe that their initial interaction was just a fluke. I think that was the counselor in her, wanting to unravel that knot.
But she eventually learned that the vets had too much of stronghold on the house with a majority alliance. Plus their powers. Plus production showing their hand multiple times. Taylor stopped seeing production as helpful and trustworthy.
Being in her pod meant she didn’t have to wear her mic, which made it harder for production to hear planning and studying her way to the final three. Especially because she could read the rooms in which she was not welcome because of a number of ugly bigots and their minions who went unchecked.
So, although she’s small in stature, we’ve seen she can pack a stealthy but mighty punch in HGs faces, figuratively, of course, and without breaking a sweat.
Because the potions she’s been brewing quietly, while others have been doing too much and acting afool, are powerful and potent.
She has stayed true to herself, and for that she should be proud, because she did it “Her Way.” #BB28
Hi God, it's me again....
I know you have bigger things to worry about over this silly show.
But if you allow the stars to align so Taylor wins #BB28, here's my promise:
🙏 I'll be classy to every single person who called me stupid for thinking she can win
🙏 I'll show receipts, with respect
🙏 I'll welcome anyone who admits they were wrong with open arms
🙏 And to those who still call me dumb? Well, I'll still give them grace
That is all. Thank you for listening. Amen. 💜
