Watching the women give birth naturally and through c-section first hand was such a special moment. Then having the chance to learn/observe/practise how to complete an abdominal scan and find the foetal heart beat was even more incredible.

2nd week of placement completed. I found this week a breath of fresh air after a difficult first week adjusting & a tough placement area with a difficult chain of events. But really enjoyed my time on labour ward, gynae theatres this week. @CYPnursingUoS @UoS_IntOpps
