@PaulAnsell15@NSWHealth This is SPOT on!! Needs to be shared far & wide. Incredible how these people pivot to retrust science when they are being affected…
@aruptom thank you🙏🏽 Also: HUGE issue not being is mentioned is that Australia runs on migrant workers. These benefits are for citizens, residents or special category visas. The MILLIONS on student or temporary visas get zero. These are the people desperate, sharing homes & cant isolate.
@lauramoates This will lead to more deaths. Those protesters 100% knew what they were doing. Isn’t deliberately killing others murder - or genocide even? If tragedy occurs, they should all get charged as such.
@KumovaTolga the blind, evil selfishness?!? people will die after this: they should all then be charged with manslaughter as they 100% know what they are doing.
@MrTimDunn wonderful thread! i grew up in Eastcote & Pinner - prime Metro Land - family in Wycombe. Dad was a commuter, I followed, & every weekend from 16 i’d take the Met into London, gigs or clubbing - sometimes as a full goth - into a new world. That route enabled creativity & freedom.
@ConorMcNicholas But they refuse as 100% capitalist: fake news & conspiracy theories spread 4x faster than truth = 4x as many impressions = 4x ad revenue. eg Australia: when $ is involved the giants act instantly without morals; i can’t access ANY news on FB but every conspiracy group still live.
Global emissions are down 7% (=2.4 bn tonnes of CO2) in 2020 compared to 2019, due to #COVID-19 — 4x larger than the 1.5% drop after the 2007 Global Financial Crash.
But don't celebrate yet...

1 billion animals dead. Devastated.
For context:
The human population of the US is 331 million.
The human population of the UK is 67 million.
The human population of Australia is 26 million.
Fire Animal deaths = 38.5 TIMES the population of Australia.
