AI-Powered Efficiency in Every Order

[GenLots @GenLots]

AI Recommendation:
“Order 20% more for a 5% discount.”

Would you approve?

What about stock, cash, shelf life and shortage risk?

GenLots evaluates these trade-offs and optimizes order dates and quantities to lower TOC.

What would you need to see before approving?

[GenLots @GenLots]

Same material, two sites: one is about to reorder, the other holds months of stock.

Before any purchase, GenLots can check what the rest of the network holds.

Supply chains don't run as a set of independent sites. They run as one system.

Material planning is a lot like Tetris.

MOQ. Price breaks. Truck capacity. Shelf life. Holding cost.

Every block has to fit.

Place one badly and inventory rises, cash gets trapped, or service suffers.

GenLots helps find the order plan that fits.

Tetris, but with MOQs.

[GenLots @GenLots]

If Material RM-2048 had a dating profile:

Looking for: someone who gets my MOQ, lead time, and discounts.

Turn-off: “We’ll figure it out in Excel.”

Material planning can be complicated. It needs optimization.

GenLots helps find the Order Plan that makes economic sense.

[GenLots @GenLots]

How should we plan this material?

MRP: What is required?

Kanban: What was consumed?

DDMRP: Where should buffers protect the flow?

GenLots: Given the requirements, constraints and costs, when should we order and how much?

These approaches complement one another.

[GenLots @GenLots]

How do DD-MRP and GenLots work together ?

DD-MRP decides where buffers sit, sets the safety floor to shorten production cycles.

For each buffer, GenLots decides when and how much to order at the lowest total cost.

Same protection. Cheaper replenishment.

[GenLots @GenLots]

That is why order planning should not optimize only purchase price.

It should optimize Total Cost of Ownership.

What is the most overlooked ordering cost in your company?

[GenLots @GenLots]

A “free delivery” can cost a lot.

Example:

€50 in order processing
€150 in warehouse intake
€500 in internal quality control
and/or €2500+ in external quality control
= €700 and €3200+ /per order (before transport).

The material price is not the full cost of the order.

[GenLots @GenLots]

🤔 "Can't I just ask an AI to fix my purchase orders?"
Sure, you'll get a strategy.

GenLots gives you a plan.

GenLots' Policy Advisor reviews your actual safety stock.

No prompt, no spreadsheet, just operational intelligence.

It reviews your parameters, not your prompts.

[GenLots @GenLots]

The material price is only part of the cost.

Every order also brings inventory, storage, handling, transport and quality-control costs.

That is why GenLots optimises Total Cost of Ownership, not just purchase price.

[GenLots @GenLots]

A material needs to be ordered.

Procurement wants discounts.
Finance wants cash.
Logistics wants fewer deliveries.
Quality wants fewer inspections.
Production wants supply security.

They are all right.

GenLots optimises these trade-offs for the company, not one department.

[GenLots @GenLots]

How much value is hidden in the way your company plans direct orders?

An export of 50 representative materials is enough.

GenLots compares your order dates and quantities with optimized recommendations.

[GenLots @GenLots]

Many direct-material orders are driven by ERP rules, legacy parameters and fixed lot sizes that nobody owns.

GenLots continuously optimizes every order plan!

Small improvements in order timing and quantity scale into major impact across thousands of materials and suppliers.

[GenLots @GenLots]

Decisions on the timing and quantity of direct materials orders, should be shaped by all of these teams.

GenLots brings all these dimensions together!
A dedicated algorithm, connected to your ERP, continuously optimizes replenishment and cuts Total Cost of Ownership.

[GenLots @GenLots]

- Procurement negotiates the price.
- Supply chain manages the inventory.
- Logistics receives the deliveries.
- Finance funds the working capital.

But who makes sure order plans account for the needs of every department?

Who owns order-planning quality in your company?

[GenLots @GenLots]

When safety-stock parameters and lot sizes are wrong, companies can carry unnecessary inventory, place orders at the wrong time, or face shortages without knowing why.

Have you ever encountered incorrect safety-stock parameters or outdated lot sizes in your planning system?

[GenLots @GenLots]

A supply-chain scary story in four sentences.

Safety-stock parameters and lot sizes become outdated quickly.

GenLots PolicyAdvisor reviews safety-stock settings, then continuously updates order plans accordingly.

Ever hit "session limit reached" mid-flow and just stare at the screen?

GenLots doesn't do that.

Plug it into your ERP. No caps, no "come back in 4 hours". It just finds the savings: up to 30% off inventory, deliveries, waste, CO2.

Live in 6 weeks.
No limits. Just savings!

As AI makes more business capabilities easier to copy, the moat shifts to what’s harder to replicate: brand, customer experience, and supply chain execution.

Order planning is still stuck in 40-year-old logic.

That’s a margin opportunity hiding in plain sight.

[GenLots @GenLots]

Safety stocks exist to absorb variability in lead times, supplier reliability, and production plans.
Once set, though, they're rarely updated. As conditions change, service levels slip.

GenLots PolicyAdvisor revisits them automatically and re-plans orders across all materials.
