We didn’t “lose” physical media.
We walked away from it.
The shops still exist. The discs, the vinyl, the collections, all still there waiting.
Streaming is easy.
Owning something is meaningful.
If you miss it… support it.
@Faithful2Pray 1 of 3, there is my birth mother, my mother by adoption (the one I count as my mom), of course Mary.
Birth parents weren’t bad people, just didn’t feel cut out to be parents. Adopted parents are great people and love me dearly, vice versa.
Mary, that is difficult to describe
@ATRightMovies Charlie and the chocolate factory. I’ll always love Gene Wilder as Wonka, Depp brought a different energy to the part that I really enjoyed.
@bluelivesmtr@ADevotedYogi We once went to war because of Islam trying to take over. Only difference this time would be who is more well armed, I think we all know who is.
>The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King
>No modern political messaging
>Just an army of men riding headfirst into certain death to save their allies from evil
>Written by a devout Catholic
>A pure, unapologetic representation of Christian Chivalry and Western courage against impossible odds
>Great men save the day from evil
>Good prevails, evil fails, the good guys win
We need more movies like this.
