@sarahtexe Umm you grew up in a different America than I did. Even today, most neighborhoods, schools, jobs, etc. are segregated by race. Minorities do most of the civil service and service jobs in general in America. That’s not a coincidence.

It may appreciate, but you ignore the dollars that were spent the years owning it. When you sell it, you spend money fixing it up and 6% is lost to agent fees. No one gets rich owning a home.

@SC_hadouken @BellaBaddie__ Not sure when you factor in insurance and maintenance that is true. People who own never count the costs of maintenance. Had to replace my windows, cost me $40k. That’s almost 2 years of rent depending on where you live. Equal income, your cashflow is better renting.

@RickyRo65200630 @DerrickEvans4WV That’s the 911 operator. They are trained to ask those questions. She wasn’t focused on Austin, but rather if there was a risk of others being stabbed and what level of police force was needed. In retrospect, what was really needed was an ambulance ASAP.
