Family. And families outside my family. 🥰 Thankful for the people who got my back, unconditionally. Those who embrace me, push me for the better, check on my character when it's out of line, and will be there when it matters the most. Y'all make me emotionally well-rounded. 🥰
My wife texted me from work:
Her: "Are you watching that new serial killer documentary on Netflix?"
Me: "Yeah, I just started episode 3."
Her: "Pause it at 22 minutes and 14 seconds."
Me: "Okay, paused. It's the crime scene photo of the living room."
Her: "Right. Do you see the blood spatter on the wall near the fireplace?"
Me: "Uh, yeah. It's pretty gruesome."
Her: "Look just to the left of the fireplace mantle. See where the natural light is hitting the wall?"
Me: "Yes..."
Her: "That’s the exact shade of sage green I want for the guest bathroom."
Last week, my brother-in-law (sister’s husband) passed away tragically and unexpectedly. Last night, he appeared in my dream and told me that my sister is having a hard time with the house being so quiet and to please tell her that it would help to turn on the living room TV. I called the second I woke up to tell her and she said, “Tell him I’ll do what I want.” 🤣 In case you think marriage bickering ends when one is in the afterlife.
I used to not be sentimental, I swear. But after mom's passing, I now can't help but be sentimental, especially when it comes to family... Coz this could be the good old days, and I'm just letting the moment pass by without truly understanding the gift God is giving me right now.
Grabe, love the fb post of pastor King regarding pastoral leadership. It's not for us regular mamamayans of the kingdom lol, but I appreciate getting an insight of what pastors go through.
Yeah, regular citizen lang me talaga hahahaha
