I was telling Jared how this birthday (30) feels like the weirdest one I’ve had, yet. Not being in my 20s anymore. He came back with the perfect response. “Babe, I don’t think we’ve been in our 20s for a while now.” We’ve acted like we have been about 35 since 2015.

The lab tech taking my blood: “You look nervous? You shouldn’t be afraid of needles! I see you have multiple tattoos!” Me: “Ya, I see you don’t have any and that’s why you don’t realize how utterly different it is to get a tattoo versus drawing 5 vials of blood”. Next.

Turning 30 in two months. I thought the sophomores in college, when I was a freshman, were full grown adults. I still feel the same. 20 year olds, in 2023, are more put together than I am. Or at least more skilled with social media portrayal.
