@rayonasharpnack It is also important to know that "women have a higher standard for understanding" always looking for what more can be known. They bring a broader understanding of problems and solutions to the table--while still questioning if there is more to know and including other ideas.

@allspaw @mekkaokereke I coach Fire Preventers to point out to their bosses and groups to let everyone know they are Fire Preventers and to point out all that they do to prevent fires. For Fire Preventers, it is "just common sense."

@mekkaokereke I have had women tell me they have been "coached" by their men colleagues, "If you want to get ahead you have to light a few fires and put them out." 40% of arson fires are set by firefighters who want to fight fires!

@EricaJoy Fire preventers are often misinterpreted as being "unfocused and stalling the action" "getting into other people's turfs" because of complex "systems thinking" solutions designing out in front of problems.

You are so right about London Breed being the true Fire Preventer designing the solution out in front of anyone else. Fire Prevention is "too complex" "connects the dots" that is
"not focused" "stalls the action" and "gets into everybody's turf" --"not a team player".
