2026 Guard Callie Genece (@GeneceCallie) of Lake Norman Charter (@LNCWBB) has received Player of the Week honors, per @theobserver.

The 5-8 senior scored six points had two assists and a steal in a 73-18 win over Corvian Charter in the first round of the Catawba Shores’ 2A/3A/4A conference tournament on Feb. 16. Genece also scored 31 points to go with 15 rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in a 58-54 victory over Christ the King in the tournament semifinals on Feb. 18. Genece finished off the week with 24 points, seven rebounds, one steal and two blocks in a 63-52 loss at Lincoln Charter on Feb. 20.

Genece is averaging 19.8 points, 8.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 3.2 steals and 1.8 blocks per game for Lake Norman Charter (23-3).

The 5-8 senior scored 28 points, grabbed eight rebounds, had six steals, three assists and one block in a 67-24 win over Langtree Charter on Feb. 5. Lake Norman Charter (20-1) also won 65-22 win over Corvian Charter on Feb. 6. Genece is averaging 19.5 points, 8.7 rebounds, 3.4 steals, 2.6 assists and 1.8 blocks for Lake Norman Charter this season.
