Queremos agradecer de todo corazón a las participantes en la convocatoria de **Gladiatrix**. Ha sido un placer recibir vuestros formularios con tantas propuestas creativas y comprometidas, y estamos realmente impresionados por el talento que todas las artistas han demostrado en @ElJardiDigital

Sin embargo, nos gustaría disculparnos con aquellas artistas que no fueron seleccionadas. La decisión no refleja en absoluto una falta de calidad o talento en sus trabajos. En esta oportunidad, estábamos buscando específicamente a artistas hispanas residentes en España que fueran pioneras en el mundo del cryptoarte desde 2018, y por ello, hemos tenido que realizar una selección basada en estos criterios específicos.

Esperamos contar con tu participación en futuros proyectos y seguir conectadas para próximas iniciativas.

WIP - Portals of No Return I, came about after watching the documentary Las Sin Sombrero ( by @minapower_tw ) that is about a group of artists from the 1st half of the s.XX who were erased from history because of the Spanish Civil War in 1936. Las Sin Sombrero were brave women who broke the established norms and fought in their own way for women's rights. Friends and generation colleagues of great known artists such as Dalí, Buñuel, Federico García Lorca or Rafael Alberti, they had talent and charisma equal to or even superior to their generation mates, it is time to put them in the place they deserve. This is a horizontal version of the original work for an event in November mapping in Tarragona, Spain, thanks to the collaboration of #Gladiatrix : crypto female pioneering in Spain.

DADA is a global decentralized community composed of artists, technologists, thinkers, researchers, and collectors. Since founding the DADA Drawing Platform (https://t.co/P5Vg6EPPOw) in 2014, DADA introduced the first art project, 'Creeps & Weirdos', which encoded artist royalties into Ethereum smart contracts in 2017. DADA has supported collaborative creation and utilized Web3 technology to create alternative economic models for artists.

As part of the <𝙍𝙃𝙄𝙕𝙊𝙈𝘼𝙏𝙄𝘾𝙎> exhibition program, DADA is hosting a free webinar on the topic, "How Can Artists' Copyrights Be Protected in the AI Era?" Join us to discuss the evolving rights of artists in the Web3 era.
