BREAKING: Iconic rapper Eminem puts 2024 Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy on notice that he must stop using his music to promote his campaign immediately — or else face consequences.
The feud started when Ramaswamy went viral after embarrassing himself by jumping on stage at the Iowa State Fair and rapping along to Eminem’s “Lose Yourself,” the lead song of the soundtrack for the movie Eight Mile.
This infuriated Eminem, who is a “woke” rapper who stands firmly against Ramaswamy’s extremist, bigoted beliefs and dangerous rhetoric targeted against Black and Hispanic Democratic Congressional leaders.
Eminem immediately called his label, BMI, and had BMI send Ramaswamy and his campaign a blistering letter threatening to take legal action against Ramaswamy if he ever uses his music again to promote his extremist presidential campaign. In the letter, BMI reveals that Eminem strongly “objects” to Ramaswamy using his songs — and that any future use of Eminem songs of will result in a “breach” that Eminem and BMI will seek legal “remedies” over.
Laughably, Ramaswamy just responded to Eminem’s threat by announcing that he will no longer use Eminem’s music — and that he only did so because Eminem is an “underdog” just like him. What Ramaswamy didn’t mention is that he grew up in wealthy household that is far removed from the struggles that Eminem overcame growing up in a trailer on the “otherwise of the tracks” in Detroit.
Maybe if Ramaswamy had actually paid attention when he watched Eight Mile, he would have understood that his own story is nothing like Eminem’s — and that Eminem would have NEVER endorsed his divisive, bigoted, pro-Trump presidential campaign.

If a Senator disagrees with DoD health care policy, they should settle it through normal legislative or administrative channels. It is highly inappropriate and unpatriotic to wage a political battle by using military service members as pawns.”

BREAKING: Donald Trump has a complete meltdown as his legal problems multiply and lashes out at Special Counsel Jack Smith and AG Merrick Garland on Truth Social — proving that they're rapidly closing in on him.
Trump screeched that Smith and Garland are engaged in "prosecutorial misconduct" and "election interference," a blatant smear attempt aimed at delegitimizing their perfectly proper professional behavior.
"Do you think that A.G. Garland, and Deranged Jack Smith, understand that we are in the middle of a major political campaign for President of the United States?" whined Trump. "Have they looked at recent poll numbers? Why didn’t they bring these ridiculous charges years before - Why did they wait to bring them NOW - A virtually unheard of scenario."
The answer, of course, is that the polls have no bearing on the law. Trump committed serious felonies. His decision to run for president again — a decision he made in large part to try to save himself from prosecution — has nothing to do with the investigations. A good polling response is not a get out of jail free card.
Trump then really lost his mind as he launched into caps lock mode—
"PROSECUTORIAL MISCONDUCT! ELECTION INTERFERENCE!” he ranted. "DO THEY UNDERSTAND THE DAMAGE BEING DONE TO AMERICA? IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE. WE MUST STOP THESE ‘MONSTERS’ FROM FURTHER DESTROYING OUR COUNTRY!”
These are the word of a man terrified of going to prison. The real "damage" would be to let him get away with his crimes. It would only encourage him to try to overthrow our democracy again and next time he might succeed.

BREAKING: Shockwaves rip through MAGA land as the Senate Judiciary Committee votes to advance a Supreme Court ethics reform bill in the wake of reports about mass corruption amongst Republican justices.
The vote to advance came down to party lines, with Republicans openly admitting through their "no" votes that they do not want an ethical Supreme Court. They don't mind corruption so long as it benefits them.
This bill is in large part a response to the shocking revelation that Justice Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito accepted tens of thousands of dollars worth of gifts, luxury trips, and perks from Republican megadonors. They have been living like hogs while bending over backwards to ram through unpopular right-wing rulings.
We also still do not know who paid off Brett Kavanaugh's credit card and loan debt which stood at $60,000 and $200,000 before he was appointed by Donald Trump. There's shady and then there's shady.
The bill, entitled the Supreme Court Ethics, Recusal and Transparency Act, would require justices to submit to a code of conduct and create a robust and transparent process for the public to submit ethic complaints against justices.
Crucially, the bill would require the Supreme Court to adopt rigorous disclosure rules for gifts, travel, and income meaning the gravy train would finally be over for these crooks.
Republicans like Senator Lindsey Graham have said that Democrats want to "destroy" the Supreme Court which really just gives the MAGA game away. If they oppose ethical standards for the court it's because they value it as an unethical institution.

BREAKING: Donald Trump gives the WORST excuse ever for leaving his supporters with empty stomachs after promising to pay for “food for everyone” at a Cuban restaurant shortly after he was arraigned at a federal Miami courthouse.
In a statement, Trump shamelessly declared that he ONLY “offered to buy food” for almost a hundred Trump supporters “INSIDE of the restaurant,” but when he “left,” the “attendees followed” him “outside and did not place orders themselves.”
Even worse, Trump bragged that his campaign DID pay for their OWN to-go-meals that they purchased.
What a pathetic excuse. Trump was only there for a whole TEN minutes. In other words, in Trump’s eyes, his supporters who cheered him on and went outside to wave him goodbye after he promised “food for all” before abruptly leaving the restaurant should have known that he meant that he would ONLY pay for their food if they ordered it during the brief ten minutes that he was there.
In typical Trump fashion, he left his own supporters hungry, and the restaurant servers confused, at the Cuban restaurant while he, his indicted coconspirator, and his team scarfed down their to-go orders in the car.
Another day, another broken promise by Trump — followed by yet another pathetic excuse to save face.
