@iker_bnt@temets The agents identity, as described by Riot both in the most recent patch notes as well as the literal Neon release trailer, was a ground sprinter.
Players discovered that her bhop is broken and started abusing that, but it was never Riot's intent.
@Lazy_Bengal Whilst I agree with you that there are some foul mouths in Valorant, I feel like this issue is over-prioritised by Riot relative to gameplay sabotage. We have a competitive game where people who don't care about competing are not punished for ruining the experience for others.
@temets@KKhudoyqulov Bhopping was never Neon's core ability. It is sprinting. Bhopping is an unintended side effect players discovered that Riot chose to ignore.
@temets Just because something is unique, special, or requires skill doesn't mean it belongs in a specific genre game, such as a tac fps.
Once more, If I made an agent where you press E, it opens typeracer and if you get 300wpm the enemy team dies that also takes skill, and is dumb.
@RocketBullets To go even further, this is actually better than the shitty standard defence Viper wall teams use who's only function seems to be to allow attackers a free path up to ramp lmao
@Underdog840@zlabobabil Just because it takes skill doesn't mean it belongs in the game. If I made an agent where you press E and it opens typeracer and if you get 300wpm the enemy team dies that also takes skill and it would be fucking stupid. Neon movement must go.
@RaGe1030 The same people calling her dead were the people overreacting calling Yoru dead(PRX just won a map with solo Yoru), Chamber dead after 2022, or Tejo dead after Stage 1 last year.
@Deeeeety@FrosTvsYou Shotguns can still kill up close. It's the jumping part that was the problem. Moving and shooting shouldn't be rewarded, hopefully Riot attacks run and gun SMGs + crouch walk spray rifles some more honestly.
