@JonnyB550577@KeithWalsh86302@GBPolitcs@DailyMail The tories did some good things, and I'm sure you'll say that they are overshadowed by the bad things they did.
The problem here is that you will do that whilst ignoring the bad things that Labour have done whilst expecting us to celebrate their achievements.
@timreay@julianHjessop Because you're conflating several issue with multiple causes and assigning them to brexit. Brexit didn't cause covid, the Israeli war, the Iranian war or Trumps presidency, they would have happened regardless and account for our CoL crisis in actually demonstrable ways.
@timreay@julianHjessop People are complaining simply because they lost, and they don't like that.
And as far as how much better we would be, there is no way of knowing so it remains pure fantasy. The only metrics we have are the ones I shared, and they show that the predictions of doom were just wrong
@timreay@julianHjessop So if taking all the extra admin and charges into account we have a growth rate equal to EU members, than we've done even better than that graph suggests.
Time to face it Tim, you thought you had this argument on the bag but you've stuffed it.
@timreay@julianHjessop I can see you won't be happy u til we've gone round in circles, so here is my original point that shows why I don't think we've suffered
@timreay@julianHjessop I haven't claimed that trade with the EU hasn't suffered, I've claimed that we haven't suffered as a result of that loss of trade with the EU.
Yet again, you knew that and I suspect you hoped it wouldn't be noticed that you very subtly tried to move the goalposts there.
@timetoshine1234@PolliticsUK@Moreincommon_ Have you found it a very effective coping strategy to call everything you disagree with a bot?
I am curious though. What kind of results on Friday will get you to the point where you just have to accept that you are wrong?
@timreay@julianHjessop Because the other countries don't dictate our laws in exchange for said trade deals.
But you knew that already of course, you were just doing that remainers thing of pretending all trade deals are of equal worth with equal conditions.
@Rob__Friar@SneekyD_@LeeAndersonMP_ Sounds more like you dressing it up to fit the narrative you want people to believe.
Luckily, people can tell the difference between your biased assumptions and the, you know, actual war in Ukraine.
@timreay@julianHjessop It shows the thing you people hate to acknowledge. The fact that the UK is not suffering due to brexit.
Your entire argument rests on what you believe would have happened in an alternate reality, i.e completely unprovable fantasy.
