Today marks exactly 42 days since the tragic k!dnapp!ng of those children and teachers in Oyo State, and sadly they are still yet to return home. 💔

I am typing this with tears in my eyes 😭 because some people may never truly understand the pain, fear, and trauma that come with spending even a single day in the hands of t£rror!sts, let alone 42 days.

First, I want to thank God Almighty and my mother for making my escape possible. If I hadn't escaped, I genuinely believe I might not be alive today. The 42 days I spent in captivity were the most horrific days of my life. The hunger, fear, uncertainty, sleepless nights, and constant thoughts of death are experiences I will carry with me forever.

That is why my heart breaks whenever I think about those innocent children and their teachers. If, as an adult, I went through so much physical and emotional damage in 42 days, I cannot begin to imagine what those young children are enduring right now in the den of those h£artl£ss t£rror!sts. 💔😰

Every passing day feels like a lifetime for the victims and their families. Parents are waking up each morning not knowing whether their children are safe, hungry, sick, or even alive. No family deserves this kind of pain. 💔😔

It is heartbreaking that after 42 days, there is still little hope and no clear end in sight. We have a government, yet these innocent lives seem forgotten. Human lives should matter. These children deserve to come home. Their teachers deserve to come home.

Today, I pray for their safety, strength, and freedom. May God bring them back alive to their families. 🙏🏽💔
