TheDAO is allocating 400 ETH to the ETHSecurity Initiatives Round via @blossom_labs' Blossom Budgeting.
To be eligible for funding, Initiatives will need to meet certain funding thresholds.

🔥 @osec_io has pledged $37.5K to the Community Fuzzing Tooling initiative.
This RFP is looking for a team to build scalable, continuous fuzzing infrastructure for Ethereum ecosystem projects.
The goal is simple: make serious fuzzing easier to run, easier to access, and less dependent on every project building the same setup alone.
Many teams know fuzzing matters. Far fewer can afford to run sustained, compute-heavy campaigns over time.
This initiative aims to change that.

Ethereum security gets stronger when the ecosystem funds the infrastructure everyone depends on.
We’re excited to announce a collaborative effort with the @ethereumfndn on the End-to-End Formally Verified Vyper Compiler grant, now live in the ETHSecurity Initiatives Round.
Vyper contracts are audited and verified at the source-code level, but Ethereum executes bytecode. Everything in between depends on the compiler preserving the meaning of what developers wrote.
This grant funds work toward a machine-checked proof that @vyperlang compilation preserves source semantics, plus the infrastructure to re-verify supported releases.
The goal is a public --verified compilation mode in the official Vyper compiler, with documented guarantees and real production adoption.
The Ethereum Foundation has pledged $100K toward the initiative.
Now we have a chance to bring the ecosystem together around one of the deepest layers of Ethereum security and help build a future where critical smart contract code can be verified all the way down to bytecode.

Ethereum security cannot only depend on finding bugs after the fact.
This Thursday, TheDAO’s Ethereum Security Space is back to talk formal verification, and how proving critical code behaves as intended can help make Ethereum safer.

Onchain security is everyone’s problem and nobody’s job.
ETHSecurity Initiatives is how we are changing that.
Propose the work. Fund the work. Build the work.

⚠️ Giveth community, please be careful.

We just published a new article on the infrastructure securing TheDAO Security Fund.
Written by TheDAO Security Fund curator @Pol_Lanski, it looks at how nearly 70,000 ETH is being staked, the architecture behind it, and the thinking that shaped the setup.

On this day 10 years ago, TheDAO was hacked.
If you had told people then that TheDAO would one day be funding Ethereum security, they probably wouldn’t have believed you.
Yet here we are.
Our first Ethereum Security QF Round funded 134 projects working to make Ethereum safer.
Not a bad next chapter.
TheDAO's Ethereum Security QF Round matching funds have officially been distributed 🛡️
What started as a 500 ETH matching pool from @thedaofund ultimately grew to 638 ETH+ thanks to support from across the ecosystem.
134 projects have now received funding to continue their work strengthening Ethereum security.
A huge thank you to every donor, contributor, and project that made this round possible.
More support for Ethereum Security QF Round projects!
Thanks to @blockscout, every project in the round is eligible for a free one-month upgrade to one of Blockscout's developer plans.
🔹 Top 10 projects: Business API Plan (3B Credits/month @ 50 RPS)
🔹 Projects 11-134: Pro Plan (500M Credits/month @ 30 RPS)
Eligible projects will receive an email from Giveth with instructions on how to claim their upgrade.
Huge thanks to Blockscout for supporting the teams helping keep Ethereum secure. 🛡️
What happens when Ethereum decides to fund security together? 🛡️
Join us Wednesday for the Ethereum Security QF Round wrap-up Space.
We’ll unpack the results, hear from contributors and share key takeaways from the round.

The Ethereum Security QF round may be over, but support for the projects is still growing.
@TenderlyApp is contributing in a unique way: the top 10 projects in the round will receive 3 months of full platform access, valued at $1,500 each.
Tenderly is full-stack Web3 infrastructure for onchain operations, helping teams debug, monitor, and operate more reliably across Ethereum.
A great example of ecosystem support continuing beyond the round 💜
More good news for Ethereum security 🔥
@osec_io has joined the final push, contributing $7K across 40 projects through their ETHSecurity badgeholder.
With badgeholder donations carrying boosted influence in matching, this contribution goes even further.
Huge thank you to OtterSec! 💜
Big news for the Ethereum Security QF round 🔥
@Certora is contributing $10K through their 4 ETHSecurity badgeholders, giving each one $2,500 to donate to projects in the round.
And because badgeholder donations count 4x in the QF calculation, this support goes even further in directing matching funds to Ethereum security projects.
Huge thank you to Certora 💙💚
A little over 4 days left in the Ethereum Security QF round 🛡️
Quick reminder: matching works best when it reflects real community support.
Giveth uses COCM to help reward unique donation patterns and reduce sybil influence, so the strongest signal comes from genuine donors supporting projects they actually care about.
