[Generals Live @GeneralsUpdates]

I have taken over the @OHLHockey Draft Pick Database and will be running it going forward, doing my best to keep it fully up to date https://t.co/ieYpNaxzyU

[Generals Live @GeneralsUpdates]

@eliz_farbota_xo @Allspitties He’s not a hockey player. He’s literally only there to do dumb shit and take dumb penalties

[Generals Live @GeneralsUpdates]

@JustinSwartz63 Yeah

[Generals Live @GeneralsUpdates]

What? Lol. He slid it along the ice to a wide open player. What is sportsnet doing here?

[Sportsnet @Sportsnet]

What a feed from Ivar Stenberg 😮‍💨

[Generals Live @GeneralsUpdates]

@JustinSwartz63 Yeah they'll empty the cupboard then be really bad for 2-4 years

[Generals Live @GeneralsUpdates]

@HockeyRocks1978 Deferred. That’s not what we’re taking about. We’re taking about being moved up. Majority non-OAs. Hell a 15 year old just did it by expediting his high school classes

[Generals Live @GeneralsUpdates]

"Proud product of Niagara" is laugh out loud funny when he's played 10 career games for them and has never scored a goal. No, I think the credit would go to the Hill there where he spent 3+ years...

[Niagara IceDogs @OHLIceDogs]

FINNY IS GOIN' CRIMSON 🟥

IceDogs' rookie forward, Finn Merrill has announced his commitment to Harvard University following his OHL career.

Congrats, Finn!

Proud product of Niagara. 🍑

[Generals Live @GeneralsUpdates]

In all seriousness though, this is a really good trade for Peterborough. Now they finally have the room to play Kaden McGregor, Gerry DiCunzolo and Colin Fitzgerald

[Generals Live @GeneralsUpdates]

Who is Peterborough going to play on F over their good young Fs now????

[Peterborough Petes @PetesOHLhockey]

TRADE: The Petes have traded defenceman Thanasi Marentette to the @SpitsHockey in exchange for a 10th round pick in 2030 🤝

#Gens outplayed the 6th best team in the country this week

[Canadian Hockey League @CHLHockey]

The @Storm_City remain at no. 1 in the Week 5 #CHLTop10 rankings, @spokanechiefs climb five spots and @ForeursVD jump right into the fifth spot in their season debut!

[Generals Live @GeneralsUpdates]

#Gens prospect Matyas Michalek will be playing in the U17 World Challenge in Oakville. So that tournament will have Kane Cloutier, Deverin Warner, William LoSauro and Matyas Michalek. 4 very, very big pieces of the #Gens future hopefully

[Czech Prospects @CZprospects]

Czechia roster for the 2026 U17 World Challenge.

The roster features top 2028 prospect Matyáš Michálek and top 2029 prospect Dominik Železný.

Matyas Čutta and Matyas Svrček among the other names to watch, both off to strong starts in the QMJHL and USHL, respectively.

#WorldU17

[Generals Live @GeneralsUpdates]

@JustinSwartz63 I'm sure he does. Loser look to be openly saying he doesn't think they can beat a West champ though lol

[Generals Live @GeneralsUpdates]

A lot has been made about Tanner Adams likely going NCAA because of his career at Hill Academy. Well here is his former Hill teammate Finn Merrill committing to NCAA just a month into his #OHL career

[Puck Preps @PuckPreps]

🚨 BREAKING 🚨

Harvard has received a commitment from 4 ⭐️ 2010-born recruit Finn Merrill. The 5’10 right shot forward has 1 point in 10 games in his rookie season with the OHL’s Niagara IceDogs.

[Generals Live @GeneralsUpdates]

@GregCowanST AI is crazy these days

[Generals Live @GeneralsUpdates]

But the Owen Sound brass said Leenders never pulled himself. So this video of him getting scored on and then very, very clearly immediately pulling himself must be fake

[Allspitties @Allspitties]

Sooo… after this play, apparently Leenders pulled himself out of the net and went to the dressing room.

[Generals Live @GeneralsUpdates]

@attackupdate @GregCowanST I don’t think they’ve acquired anyone because of the attraction to host. Everyone they’ve added (Griffin, Bartovic, Kazda, Czata, Roobroeck, Dravecky and Hrebik) they all paid for via trade. They don’t have a single good FA signing just because they’re hosting the Mem Cup do they?

[Generals Live @GeneralsUpdates]

@RickyRoznik Them bringing in Matyas Michalek would be a massive help in that regard. Hopefully he comes over soon

[Generals Live @GeneralsUpdates]

Both teams will never want to watch rhe tape from that game again. That was ugly from both sides

[Generals Live @GeneralsUpdates]

@RickyRoznik They don't have the personnel. Murnane, Marthaler, Blaseg, Costello are all defensive D-men and Funck has not rushed the puck at all. You can't blame that on structure. Yeah Kitchener brought it to 4-on-4 then just ragged the puck. Again, how is that a structure issue? Lol

[Generals Live @GeneralsUpdates]

@loperbloss Noble of Rogowski to refuse to get any points on the PP to avoid those allegations

[Generals Live @GeneralsUpdates]

Stat that seems hard to believe but is true:

Brooks Rogowski (who hasn't scored a goal this season) has the same number of even strength points as Adam Novotny. They both have 6 even strength points and both players have played 10 games #Canucks
