📢 WE'RE STANDING STRONG IN THE FACE OF ADVERSITY!
The STOP-WORK directive has shaken our healthcare systems, closing KP clinics & DICs. But we pledge to strengthen solidarity & support systems because no one should face this crisis alone.
📢 We commit to louder, bolder advocacy.
Water scarcity known as water stress is on the increase and Statista states that by 2050 the water stress in Zimbabwe will be medium to high. A deep reflection into the implications of water scarcity invites us to the realization that in places where there is scarce water, there is higher conflict. The conversation of water scarcity globally has been predicated to be one of the majority causes of conflict in the next decades. Already many multi-national companies have begun to privatize bodies of clean water. Here in Zimbabwe we are polluting our own sources of clean drinkable water. We need to have stronger protection mechanisms for our water sources and to resist the privatization of water sources my private companies. Industry leaders whose work pollutes water must not only be given penalties but must also face criminal prosecution!
The Future is at Stake : Climate change, deforestation, & wildlife extinction are all connected! Join our campaign to protect Zimbabwe's ecosystem!
