In 2020 we documented declines in adolescent mental health, and have shown that increases in schoolwork pressure partly explain these changes in #mentalhealth

Furthermore, increases in schoolwork pressure were apparent in the higher income countries. More importantly, across countries, the small increase in schoolwork pressure over time partly explained the increase in psychosomatic health complaints among adolescents.
