🌿 In the deserts of northwestern China, a “green restaurant” has quietly opened at the 300 MW Wind Power Project in Wuwei, Gansu. As greenery along the roads has grown, new visitors have arrived: goitered gazelles.

After discovering that the gazelles would stop by for a bite, the project team began planting and tending greenery especially for these unexpected visitors. The gazelles graze quietly, occasionally lifting their heads to look around before returning to the fresh greenery.

A safe place to rest, food and fresh water gave this little visitor a moment of peace. 🦅 Staff from a #CMC subsidiary cared for it and reached out for help, hoping it would recover and one day spread its wings to soar freely beneath the wide-open sky.

🌙 An ordinary evening, a heartwarming encounter. When an injured common kestrel—a bird made for the open sky—was found at the 300 MW Wind Power Project in Wuwei, Gansu, its story became the first installment of our “Wild Visitors Spotted” series.
