I'm personally not worried about Sunderland's lack of transfer activity, in fact I'm pretty excited about what it means.

Increasing squad depth at #SAFC is pretty easy. If that was the idea, sure we'd hage 4-5 deals done by now.

When you look at actually improving the Sunderland TEAM, (right wing aside), it's actually very difficult at this point. Roefs, Mukiele, Ballard, Alderete, Reinildo, Xhaka, Sadiki, Le Fee, Brobbey... players who are better than those tend to be Champions League players with Champions League clubs as options.

Seems pretty clear though that Sunderland are committed to the more difficult path.

And that's pretty exciting really as it tells us the club is not happy to settle for what they've already accomplished.
