Adam Hadjak was dominant (7 IP, 2 H, 1 R and 16 K) in the Rapids' 9-2 win at Dansville. At the plate, Jake Higgins and Aidan Robinson each had a 2B while Kieran Crossley added 3 RBI. Higgins also had 2 RBI. Overall, 6 different Rapids knocked in a run. @villebase@coachshehan

The Rapids earned an opening day walk-off victory against Dansville on Kids' Day 5-4 on Luis Tumero's RBI 1B. Tumero was 2-4 on the day while Aidan Robinson went 2-3 and Kieran Crossley was 3-4. Trey Williams (3 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 3 K) picked up the win in relief.

2025 Rapids All-Star and NYCBL All-League Selection, Seth Cooper, made his debut for the University of Louisiana Monroe Warhawks yesterday throwing 0.2 IP of scoreless relief in their 12-11 loss to the University of Central Arkansas.

Congratulations to Braeden and Gage for this award. Braeden hit .343 this summer with 2 HR, 39 RBI (4th best in NYCBL), and 29 R. Gage was the league leader in HR (9) and batted .301 for the season. His 53 runs scored were first in the league and he had 26 RBI as well.
Congratulations to Seth, Blake and Nathaniel for this honor. Seth was the league leader in saves (11) and had a 1.74 ERA (5th best in NYCBL). Blake was tied for the league lead in wins (5) and had 43 Ks (T-5 in NYCBL). Nathaniel was 3-1 with a 2.58 ERA and 30 Ks.
The 2025 season came to a close last night for the Rapids as they fell 4-0 to the Syracuse Salt Cats in Game 3 of the NYCBL Championship Series. The Rapids' bats were limited to 3 hits in the loss. Michael Frausto had a 2B, and Troy Chamberlin and Gage Wheaton had singles.
