The Genesis 1st/2nd grade team is improving fast, and it's showing.
In their first tournament experience, these boys went 3-0 and showed all the hard work they have been putting in at practice.
Proud of these boys, first of many to come!

New Year. New season and circuits. New teams - so grateful for each new opportunity.
I pray that God uses Genesis Basketball Academy to shape hearts, build character, and plant seeds of confidence and faith.
Excited for what God will do in 2026 - Our best days are ahead!
Congrats to our 1st/2nd grade squad on picking up their first win! At this age, every lesson, high five, moment of patience, shapes who they will become. Quality coaching in the beginning doesn't just build athletes, it builds confidence, character & a lifelong love for the game.
π¨ Genesis Family! BIG NEWS π¨
Genesis Basketball Academy is officially joining the Under Armour Circuit in 2026! ππ₯
Thank you to God, our players, families, and supporters β this is just the beginning.
2026, weβre coming! ππ
We believe that basketball is a tool God uses to grow character, confidence, and connection.
We're seeking 1st and 2nd grade boys to join a team where coaches lead with faith and focus on long-term development - not just the scoreboard.

My God is good! When Adam & Eve sinned, God said the punishment was death, but even in that there was mercy. If humanity had lived forever in a fallen state, we'd be eternally separated from God. Death opened the door for redemption-even in judgment, God is still a good God. π€―ππ½
There are 4 essential pillars of a basketball players development.
1οΈβ£ Mental Training - Christ leads the way at Genesis!
2οΈβ£ Athletic Training - strength, speed, agility
3οΈβ£ Skill Development - shooting, ball handling, passing, etc.
4οΈβ£ Basketball IQ - spacing, reads, movement
Just being in the gym doesnβt mean youβre improving. Without feedback, progress tracking, or new challenges, you might be wasting time and money! Group training is great for getting reps, but if theyβre not quality reps, there is not much benefit.
Heavenly Father, forgive me for the times I have prioritized anything higher than you. It's easy to get consumed by the grind that is fueled by our ambitions, but I pray that each day, we become more passionate about our walk with YOU!
Shout-out to all the parents, allowing their kids to struggle and face adversity. There are so many things being done to take our kids out of the struggle (team hop, blaming coaches, playing down). There is tremendous value in allowing our kiddos to go THROUGH the struggle!
